WHAT: Join CG Dems at the Books and Books Café on Saturday, January 6^thfrom 4:00-6:00pm to text Democrat voters in HD 35 to elect Democrat Tom Keen in a special election for Florida House District 35 in Orlando. 

WHY: The Republican resigned to become president of a Florida community college. He had only won against Keen by 1 % in 2022 so this is a race that we can win! Early voting starts January 6, so texting that day will be most timely! We need all the Dems we can get in the Florida Legislature to prevent a repeat of the horrific laws passed in 2023 by DeSantis and his Super-Majority!

All participants will be provided with a concise and impactful message to text, a glass of wine or other beverage and the fabulous company of several CG Dems Board members!
