CG Dems Communications Committee Launches

Creation of Videos of Local Dems

on 2023 Laws Passed

at FL Democratic Party Conference

On July 8^th, the CG Dems Communications Committee (CGDCC)  in coordination with MD Dems Communications Chair Martha Schoolman, and the MD Dems Interclub Council, purchased an exhibition space/vendor table at the FDP Leadership Blue Conference. CGDCC Co-chair and seasoned Producer/Director Maria Bures brought all needed equipment and compelling scripts she created so she could film CG Dems and other club and caucus leaders that made 1-2-minute videos about one of the 2023 anti-freedom laws, including the abortion ban, anti-LGBTQ and repressive public education laws, with a call to action.

We are pleased that Crystal Etienne, Lissette Fernandez and CGDCC Co-chair Matt Jimenez and several other Dems made videos! Expected to be completed in the next few weeks to include each club or caucus logo at the end, they will be posted on MD Dems, CG Dems and other social media sites. These videos will complement MD Dems social media posts. In addition to Twitter and Instagram, they will be posted on CG Dems’ new TikTok.

We will offer the opportunity for other videos to be made in September and hope other local club and caucus members will take advantage of this opportunity to make compelling videos designed to appeal to all voters that care about these issues and will respond to the call to action!
